Northern Nevada Community Housing (NNCH) opened their newest affordable housing project, Alpine Haven, in June 2018. It is located at 2000 Oddie Blvd. in Sparks and provides 24 two bedroom apartments and 16 one bedroom units. The apartment complex is a net-zero energy consumption property.

Nevada HAND, one of the largest providers of affordable housing in Southern Nevada, has recently joined forces with Touro University to bring a mobile healthcare clinic to seniors in five affordable apartment complexes.

The beginning of construction on a 360-unit affordable apartment complex, Steamboat at the Summit, was celebrated July 24th, 2018. The new property will have a mix of one, two and three bedroom units and is scheduled for completion in 2019.
