Alpine Haven Property Open in Sparks

Northern Nevada Community Housing (NNCH) opened their newest affordable housing project, Alpine Haven, in June 2018. It is located at 2000 Oddie Blvd. in Sparks and provides 24 two bedroom apartments and 16 one bedroom units. It is a two story walk-up organized around a central courtyard with barbeque and picnic facilities, play equipment and garden beds. Balconies and patios face onto the central courtyard. Other amenities on the site include a community building with kitchen, exercise equipment and computer center. Alpine Haven is a net-zero energy consumption building powered by a large solar array. The property is 100% veterans preference and is affordable to households at 60% of area median income and below.
