How to Help House Fire and Hurricane Disaster Victims

Landlords of tax credit housing in Las Vegas, Reno and elsewhere across the state have an opportunity to help house disaster victims from the recent California fires, hurricanes Harvey and Irma or other Federally declared major disaster areas.

LIHTC housing may be used to provide emergency housing for disaster victims if landlords so choose. The Internal Revenue Service allows income requirements to be waived in the case of individuals who’ve been displaced by a Federally declared major disaster. Recent major disasters include the fires in California, as well as hurricanes Harvey and Irma. If you would like to provide emergency housing for these disaster victims please complete the form: Owner Request to Provide Emergency Housing.
