Interior and exterior renovations at the Southwood Apartments in Yerington are currently underway!

The renovated units will be finished in stages over the next few months. Southwood Apartments is a family development that contains six one-bedroom units, 19 two-bedroom units and one three- bedroom unit. Two units are ADA accessible. New cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances are being installed. Energy efficient upgrades include: new windows, new exterior doors, central A/C, and tankless water heaters. A new multi-purpose common space with computer business center and library is being added. There will also be a horseshoe pit, new landscaping, repaved parking lots, security upgrades and a picnic area.  The first units will be coming available soon.  Many of the units have USDA rental assistance available and due to possible rental assistance, monthly rental amounts vary.  All phases of renovation are scheduled to be finished by Spring 2017.
