New Melody Senior Apartments Scheduled to Open August 2020

A new 201 unit senior development, Melody Apartments, is scheduled to open this August in Spring Valley. The 201 one and two-bedroom units are available to active seniors age 55 and up. On Oquendo Road near the Bruce Woodbury Beltway, the apartment community is well-located with numerous services, grocery stores, retail stores and restaurants located within a mile and a half. A pharmacy, doctors’ offices, a dentist office, hospitals, and rehabilitation center are also within a mile and a half. Several bus stops are within walking distance. About 3 miles away is the Helen Meyer Community Center which has tennis courts, a walking path, picnic areas and ballfields and offers courses for community residents.

Community features at Melody include a swimming pool with jacuzzi, meeting space, community kitchen, game area, hair salon, wellness center, exercise room and reading room. Outdoor amenities include extensive landscaping, picnic tables, BBQs and carport parking.*
