Please contact us if you need assistance with any of the following:

Rental Complaints

Try to talk with your property manager or landlord first. If you can’t resolve the issue, contact us for help. We can’t give legal advice, but we can work toward a solution by opening dialogue with property owners, managers and developers.

Housing Crisis

Are you in danger of losing your home? Are you having trouble paying your rent or mortgage due to financial hardships, such as loss of a job or illness? We can connect you with assistance.

If you need emergency shelter, please visit nevada211.org to view a list of providers who can assist you or dial 211 for information statewide about a variety of resources, including housing.

Speaker Requests

The Housing Advocate is available to speak to community groups, residents, property owners and managers, developers and others interested in learning how to create a friendlier affordable housing community. Topics include residents’ rights, resolving housing concerns, accessing assistance programs and building stronger tenant-landlord relationships.

Let’s Work Together

The Affordable Housing Advocate serves as the community liaison for the Housing Division and seeks to build more positive relationships with stakeholders who share the common goal of finding creative solutions to the housing affordability crisis. Whether you’re a developer, property manager, elected official, organization, resident or private citizen, if you want to collaborate on solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
